It's back, and now it's even better than ever!

That's right, with the revival of Barkada comes the revival of this bad boy! This is gonna be my personal project over the summer before I hand this off to our new Media Specialist: Monica Eguia. So stay tuned as I take you for a wild, imaginative (and hopefully not a failure) ride! :D

Barkada Does it Big!

Green Eggs and Jams: Lyrical Phrases to Turn Pages was a HUGE success! It was a wonderful turn-out; thank you to all that supported us (AAC, MEISA and of course, YOU!), for spreading the word and for dropping by! afterHOURS clicked in over 150+ people AND all the contributions totaled to over $300 and two boxes full of books! Bravo!

Ready for the next big BKD event? Instead of LISTENING to jams, I hope YOU are ready to JAM out at GK Dance-A-Thon 2011!... For 6 hours. Last dancer dancing takes home the grand prize! And the prize WILL be grand. :)

This charity dance marathon is for Gawad Kalinga. Gawad Kalinga (GK), a not-for-profit foundation that strives to eradicate poverty in the Philippines and other countries. Their vision for a slum and squatter-free Philippines is taken to action through the strategy of "providing land for the landless, homes for the homeless, and food for the hungry."

Back, back, back!

With a bang and some bands!

For the new members: HELLO! MABUHAY! Welcome to NU Barkada's website and all that it has to offer. We are FAMILY, so you will fit right in.

For the oldies: Welcome back! We missed your beautiful faces.

For the old and new folks: We hope you had a wonderful holiday break and so far, a good handle on your first week of classes or co-op. We've got big things for you this month so come out to our FIRST general meeting on Thursday January 20, 2011! We will be discussing our very first main event, a benefit we have been planning since last semester: GREEN EGGS AND JAMS!
